S. Brigette Loden, Principal, Loden & Associates
S. Brigette Loden has nearly 20 years experience in healthcare not-for-profit leadership, strategic planning and philanthropy. As a director for Providence Health & Services Foundations, Southern California, she currently oversees gift and estate planning, capital campaign projects, strategic planning, board and volunteer development, clinician engagement, and fundraising. The Foundations were established for the sole purpose of providing support for Providence ministries in Southern California which include six hospitals, clinics, community outreach, and education, as well as adult and pediatric hospice.
She began her nonprofit career as an Executive Director with the Arthritis Foundation where she oversaw all aspects of the northern Los Angeles County area’s fundraising and board development. Prior to entering the nonprofit arena, Brigette had a lucrative career in the securities industry, working for companies such as E. F. Hutton, Drexel Burnham Lambert and Salomon Smith Barney—from retail and commodities to institutional high-yield securities and municipal bonds.
At a young age, Brigette helped organizations like the Richstone Family Center, Variety Children’s Charities, and the Milken Family Foundation. She’s committed to teaching and mentoring others in building nonprofit career paths. In addition, Brigette enjoys matching dreams with needs to create lasting legacies.
